Jackson County Family Records

JCGL possesses several collections of family records. We are adding on-line indexes to these as time permits. At present we have three online indexes available. The first is a list of surnames for pioneers and early settlers of the Rogue Valley. We maintain files for each of these surnames and copies of these files are available. For further information on these files and to see a list of surnames, follow this link, Pioneer Families.

Some years ago RVGS asked its members to submit five-generation family history charts. These were bound into four volumes and each volume has now been indexed. These indexes are available on-line. Follow this link, Family History Charts, to see these indexes.

One of our members, Bruce Chapin Duncan, has contributed an 80-page pedigree book of interrelated surnames from England and throughout the U.S. Follow this link, Duncan Pedigree Chart to see an index to this resource.

Larry and Ann Horton are RVGS members and supporters. The Horton’s have been researching family history since 1979 and wish to share their findings with whoever is interested. Over 3000 names are available. Follow this link, Horton Family, to see their genealogy.
