Abstracts of Jackson County Wills, Probates, Estates, etc.

photo of the Jackson County Courthouse

JCGL has a set of four volumes of abstracts of court records taken from the Oregon State Archives. These include wills, probates, guardianships, and estate files. These volumes cover overlapping years, but the records do not overlap. This is just the way the records are filed in the State Archives. These four volumes should not be considered an exhaustive set of those maintained in the state archives for the years covered.

Each index includes the name of the individual and the page in our volume where the record can be found. If you find a name of interest to you and would like a copy of the record, follow the instructions above the index to display, complete, and print the request form. Then send it to us at the address on the form along with a check for $10 payable to the Rogue Valley Genealogy Society. Alternatively you can make a secure online payment and complete an online form, whereupon the requested record will be emailed to you.

Follow the links below to view the indexes to these four volumes.
