JCGL has several sets of records for Jackson County and other areas of southern Oregon dating from the 19th century. These include 1895 poll tax records, a volume of abstracts of articles about early residents taken from newspapers, verbatim transcripts of articles about early Phoenix Oregon residents, a list of jurors, the diary of an early Jacksonville resident, Roosevelt Elementary School attendance records, a history of Evans Valley pioneers, a history of Eagle Point pioneers, Presbyterian Church records, Methodist Church records, Catholic Church records, DLC Surveyor Records, Hospitalization records, and a militia muster roll. The last three sets were bound and indexed in a volume entitled, Pioneer People. Follow the links below to see the indexes to these early records, and the full text of the Hoffman diary.
